While in the final semester of my Screenwriting MA at Screen Academy Scotland, I worked on a short film called The Snail.

Director Robbie Gaynor dreamt up the original story, a crime drama about an easily-led young man attempting to resist the lure of his former criminal lifestyle. Working with Robbie, and producer Marc Stewart, I adapted this story into a screenplay exploring the universality of what it means to be forgiven, both by others, and yourself.

After a fortnight of crowdfunding, raising £1,500, and a week-long summer shoot, The Snail finally premiered for cast and crew at the Dominion Cinema in Edinburgh, Scotland on October 27th 2023.
